Big Double IPA news coming from great Lakes today as they prepare to release their Alchemy Hour DIPA on Feb 7th (tomorrow).  Details from Great Lakes:

February 6, 2013/mbb/—CLEVELAND, OHIO—Great Lakes Brewing Company (GLBC) is stoked to announce the release of their new Cleveland surf-inspired beer, Alchemy Hour Double IPA.

Name Origin: On the West Coast, surfers have a term for that perfect time of day, when the waves are breaking just right and it feels like you can ride forever. They call it Alchemy Hour. Alchemy Hour Double IPA pays tribute to the North Coast’s unlikely surf bums and the ancient quest for liquid gold, wherever it may live: on the ocean, in a lake, in a bottle.

Flavor: Hop-forward with a balanced blend of Mosaic and Nugget hops.

Availability: The first taste of Alchemy Hour will be available exclusively on tap at GLBC’s Ohio City Brewpub beginning Thursday, February 7 at 5PM. On Friday, February 15 at 5PM, GLBC’s Gift Shop will begin selling bottles. Alchemy Hour will hit GLBC’s distribution markets starting Monday, February 18.

Packaging: 4-Pack, Draft

Alchemy Hour Double IPA, which is brewed with Mosaic and Nugget hops and honey malt, is the first of two new Seasonals in GLBC’s 2013 lineup. The second, Rye of the Tiger IPA, is set to launch in April.
