The Alchemist Bringing Old Brewpub Recipes Back As Growler-Only Series

Details on a new series of growler-only beers coming from The Alchemist via Stowe Today:

And, Heady Topper’s success is giving John Kimmich a chance to do something he hasn’t done since the brewpub days — experiment with new beers. The brewery will soon offer monthly 30-barbell runs of different brews, including some recipes from the brewpub. Customers will be able to pick up a stainless steel, sealed growler, which the Alchemist plans to sell at cost, to fill up for every brew. To reward loyal customers, an Alchemist growler will be the only way you can pick up the beer, and it can only be found at the brewery.
