The first bottle release from Bullfrog Brewery in several years was bound to bring a crowd, but even I was surprised to get reports that the lines stated at 6AM and by the time the doors opened at 11AM there were close to 50 people in line. And what were they lining up for? Well the lines were for the 750ml bottle release of Oud 15…a beer that was begun by our pal Terry Hawbaker (details here) 2-years ago, then aged and blended by Nate Saar. In the end there were 500 bottles selling for $20 each with a three bottles per person limit. More details on the release are here and I’m excited to report it is likely that Oud 15 will be entered in the GABF competition for 2013.
