We brought you the original label back in November for Flying Fish Grand Cru Winter Reserve, and now comes word that it has hit the streets. This from Flying Fish:
Grand Cru Winter Reserve Now Available: This year’s Flying Fish Grand Cru Winter Reserve is particularly tasty. This Belgian-style Golden Ale as the big brother–the real big brother–of the Farmhouse Summer Ale. Lightly filtered, the Grand Cru is a medium-bodied Belgian strong golden ale with exceptional malt character, a slightly spicy hop presence and a balanced, warming finish. Like the Farmhouse, we use a sour mash process to give it a dry, quenching finish.
Grand Cru Winter Reserve is perfect with all kinds of food or all by itself. Available in bottles and draft. It will be available in bottle, 1/6 kegs and 1/2 kegs through early winter.
In keeping up with the wacky timetable of our brewery move, we thought that since we shut down brewing over the busy summer let’s start working on the exterior in December and January! In the next month we’ll have the outside of the building painted, new high-efficiency windows installed–yes, we’re ripping out the office windows in January–and a great-looking and energy efficient LED sign out front.
