From Dos Equis:

NEW YORK, Nov. 16, 2012 /PRNewswire/mbb/ -- Dos Equis announced last night that Nathan Dappen of Highland Park, NJ, and Neil Losin on Boulder, CO are the winners of the inaugural Dos Equis Stay Thirsty Grant, a reward of up to $25,000 given to make fans' most ambitious dreams into reality. Nathan & Neil's adventure to document the disappearing Rwenzori Mountain & Glaciers of Uganda won the grant after receiving the most votes online. The content they capture during their expedition will be featured on the Dos Equis Facebook page and website.

Neil and I are thrilled that our dream of exploring Uganda will be fulfilled," said Dappen. "Thanks to Dos Equis and the Stay Thirsty Grant, we'll have an experience of a lifetime documenting the Rwenzori for generations to come."

Earlier this year, fans were encouraged to submit videos detailing their most ambitious adventure to Dos Equis for the chance to be chosen through a national online vote to live out that very dream. The adventure-seeking team celebrated the win in style at last night's Dos Equis New York Legendary Masquerade, which featured a guest appearance by the Most Interesting Man himself.

"Our mission is to inspire and facilitate an interesting life, and the Stay Thirsty Grant is another example of how we connect with our fans," said Nipa Parekh, Senior Brand Director for Dos Equis. "Whether it's with Nathan and Neil, or our future winners, we cannot wait to follow their most interesting experiences."

Nathan and Neil will retrace the steps of a group of Italian explorers from 1906 and document how the unique plants, animals and people of the Rwenzori Mountains are coping with the challenge of climate change. They'll produce an epic short film that documents their travel in Africa and 100 years of climate change; this will also help teach how to preserve one of the world's most amazing places. And, of course, they'll make a toast to Dos Equis and its fans on the top of these disappearing mountains and glaciers.

To help fans Stay Thirsty, Dos Equis will give another chance to make their most interesting dreams a reality with another round of entries and submissions for the Stay Thirsty Grant. Starting today through December 15th, fans can visit http://mostinterestingacademy.com/staythirstygrant where they can submit a short video detailing their most unique adventure. The top finalists will be announced on December 18th, and fans can vote on the final winner through January 6th for a chance to be awarded a grant of up to $25,000.
