Bill Passes PA State House Allowing Beer Sales @ Farmer’s Markets

Great news for small (and large) craft brewers in the state of PA.  House Bill 2429 allowing the sale of beer at Farmer’s Markets has passed the PA state House.  PA Wineries ARE currently allowed to do this already.  This bill was sponsored by Rep. Dante Santori form Berks Co and the bill will allow brewers to buy a $30 single-day license to allow beer sales for 100 days per year.  The bill passed the house easily (175 to 20) and it now moves on to the PA State Senate.
