An interesting series of tweets from our pal Tony McGee from Lagunitas Brewing. Tony has successfully launched a direct relationship with an Alberta farm to grow much of his barley (here and here). This relationship eliminates the middle-man and ensures a consistent price and supply of grains for Lagunitas. Now based on his latest tweets, I’d say Tony is looking to do the same with hops.
