You know I love auto racing, and I certainly love craft beer, AND with Dover Speedway being one of my favorite tracks this is great news from Fordham & Dominion Brewing:
Dover, DE – The Fordham and Dominion Brewing Company is partnering with Dover International Speedway to offer the first-ever Craft Brew Pub at the Monster Mile during the September 28-30, 2012 NASCAR race weekend.
Showcasing a variety of Fordham and Dominion’s locally handcrafted brews, race fans will have the opportunity to enjoy Dover’s finest ales and lagers at the races. The beers on tap for the event include Fordham’s Copperhead Ale and Helles Lager and Dominion’s Octoberfest and Oak Barrel Stout.
Jim Lutz, President and CEO of Fordham and Dominion was thrilled with the new partnership, “The Fordham and Dominion Brewery is less than four miles from the Monster Mile. It made great sense for us to partner with Dover International Speedway to promote both of our local brands. We look forward to introducing folks to an easygoing, craft beer that is brewed in their own backyard.”
Echoing the brewery’s sentiments, Michael Tatoian, executive vice president and COO for Dover Motorsports, Inc, stated, “We’re always looking for new ways to enhance the race weekend experience for our fans, and the partnership with Fordham and Old Dominion is another way for us to do that. Featuring the Craft Brew Pub at the Monster Mile will allow our fans to get a taste of Dover during their stay.”
Open from 10 a.m. to 7p.m. throughout race weekend, the Craft Brew Pub will be located in a comfortable, tented area in Victory Plaza, near the Monster Monument, and is presented by AAA.
