New Holland Expands Into Georgia 9/24

imageMore exciting expansion news coming today from New Holland:

This September, New Holland Brewing in Holland, Michigan continues its national emergence by launching in one of the most populous states on the East Coast. The award-winning creator of craft beer and spirits has been positioning itself to expand its territory by recently completing a $3 million expansion of its production facility, tripling fermentation capacity. This has increased their ability to respond to market demand for its innovative products.

For complete listing of all eight Georgia Launch Parties, happening Sept. 24-27th, visit New Holland Brewing Co.’s Facebook event tab.

The launch will expose Georgia consumers to New Holland’s recognized flagship beers, such as Mad Hatter IPA and Dragon’s Milk Bourbon Barrel Stout, as well as other consumer favorites such as Ichabod Pumpkin Ale (a popular seasonal) and The Poet Oatmeal Stout. New Yorkers and Georgians will also be introduced to New Holland’s signature spirits, including Knickerbocker gin, Hatter Royale Hopquila, and Dutchess Citrus vodka. New Holland’s unique line of whiskies, such as Zeppelin Bend and the soon-to-be released, Beer Barrel Bourbon will follow in coming months.

“It’s an incredible time to be a craft producer of beer and spirits. The demand for our products has been tremendous and has greatly outpaced our capacity, so for the last few years, we chose to decline new markets until we could “come packin’,” stated V.P. of Sales and Marketing, Fred Bueltmann, aka “The Beervangelist.”

“Beyond the growth, which has been remarkable, we’re even more excited to feel the warm welcome shown towards quality. Wholesalers, retailers and consumers are more passionate and educated than ever before. Interestingly enough, they’re all hungry to learn even more and try new things.”

The launch takes place on September 24-27 in Atlanta, through United Distributors, with an initial kickoff at “The Fred” on Monday night, 9/24.

In celebration of this launch, New Holland and Terrapin Beer Company of Athens, Georgia collaborated in late August to brew a beer made with Michigan wheat. The brewing teams, led by NHB brewmaster/owner Brett VanderKamp and Terrapin brewmaster/owner Spike Buckowski made a draught-only Weizenbock (available throughout Atlanta and in New Holland’s Pub, while supplies last).

“We do important work,” said Brett VanderKamp, New Holland’s founder, “creating drinks that elevate everyday occasions into unique experiences. Art can change the world, and for fifteen years we’ve been creating art in fermented form. When audiences in cities like Atlanta—one of the most dynamic stages in America—taste what we create, it will change their understanding of what beer and spirits can be.”
