Cambridge Brewing - Great Pumpkin Ale Coming Today & Great Pumpkin Festival 10/27

imageAn exciting release for Cambridge Brewing coming today with great Pumpkin Al…and news of their Great Pumpkin Festival too!  This from Cambridge:

Fall is coming, that’s for sure. While we’re still enjoying some nice
days, the nights are certainly getting cooler. I swear you can even
smell the change of seasons in the air.

Another sure sign of autumn is the release of our seminal Great Pumpkin Ale.  The Great Pumpkin Ale hit our taps today and bottles should be on shelves in the next week at your favorite Massachusetts beer store!   And as many have come to learn over the past 5 years, the release  of the Great Pumpkin Ale means the return of the Great Pumpkin Festival!

This year’s event will be held on Saturday, October 27th from
1pm – 12:30am. This year we’re likely to see upwards of 40 different pumpkin beers from breweries such as Elysian, Iron Hill, Dogfish Head and Allagash to name just a few. In addition to pumpkin brews we’ll be paying homage to the great gourd with a Pumpkin Inspired Menu from Executive Chef David Drew, a Pumpkin Processional, Decorations and tons of Great Costumes.

Admission is $10 at the door and beer and food tickets are available once you are inside. You’ll also get this year’s Limited Edition Great Pumpkin Festival Pint Glass.

This event goes on rain or shine. Children are welcome from 1 – 5pm, after that it’s 21+ with valid ID.

I don’t have menus yet, but stay tuned. For now, just mark your calendars and start dreaming up this year’s costume.

Cheers!
Laura
