Big News for Karbach Brewing (and the Houston Texans fans) and their future distribution….from Chron.com:
Silver Eagle Distributors, the behemoth wholesaler that last week signed an exclusive deal to market and sell Karbach products in the immediate Houston area, is in discussions to get the Houston-made beers into the city's professional sports venues, officials said.
Reliant Stadium already is committed to carrying some Karbach beers on tap during Texans games this fall, said Alison Birdwell, Reliant Park's general manager for Aramark.
John Johnson, Silver Eagle's executive vice president for sales and marketing, said he hopes to have Karbach brews in all of the venues by the end of the year. It's part of what he intends to be an aggressive but carefully managed campaign to increase the beers' availability while making sure production can keep pace.
