Beer And Magic Coming To LA

While I admit my first reaction was that feeding beer to people during the magic show would make it even easier to fool people, I think this is actually a pretty good idea.  This from PRLog:

When the worlds of exotic beer and sleight of hand collide, the result is a unique experience for adventurous L.A. beer and theater lovers. Taking place in the Upstairs VIP Room at The Federal Bar in North Hollywood on on September 9th and October 14th, attendees will experience the prestidigitation of master magician, Anthony Asimov, a member of The World Famous Magic Castle.


Spend an afternoon sampling exotic beers and pondering all that is possible as you observe magic that is happening inches away in an intimate environment of only twenty people. The magic is presented in two segments with the beer tasting slotted in between, and attendees will experience close-up illusions with cards, money, borrowed objects, and other items
