From ABC:

Spring is upon us and it is time to celebrate Appalachian Brewing Company's 15th Anniversary! We wait all year for the Anniversary Maibock to flow as both a symbol of spring and of the founding of ABC. Tasty brews and a pig on a spit is where it's at on Saturday May 19, 2012. There will be a funky firkin on tap for our beer aficionados and $3 draft specials all day long.

The festivities will kick off at 3:00 with the annual Keg Olympics! Test your strength with the Keg Toss, Keg Spin or Keg Roll. There will also be lots of fun games outside for kids big and small, from skee ball to dueling mechanical bulls!

The menu for this shindig will be pork barbeque sliders and hot dogs with all the fixings, free to all of our awesome local brewery supporters. This outdoor picnic is a family friendly event and all are welcome. It's our way of saying thank you to all the people who have love for Appalachian Brewing Company.

At 5pm, ABC will host a Breweriana Pub Quiz, hosted by Quizmaster Extraordinaire Artie Tafoya! Test your beer knowledge, win prizes, lift a pint and earn bragging rights as ABC King or Queen Beer Snob.

After the kids get tucked in, we have some 21+ fun happening in The Abbey Bar. This year we are going to party down with Chuck Prophet at 8:00, followed by Midnight Spaghetti and the Chocolate G Strings at 10. The doors for The Abbey Bar will open at 7:00pm with no cover. You show us the love all year and this day, we show it back. See you on Saturday, May 19th! Cheers!
