Schlafly will kick off a new IPA series of beers this fall with Tasmanian IPA (& AIPA). From StlToday:
The St. Louis Brewery will unveil a new Schlafly beer in the fall -- an India pale ale brewed with Australian-grown hops -- that will be the first offering in a new year-round IPA lineup.
The beer, Schlafly Tasmanian IPA, named for the region where its Galaxy hops are grown, will be modeled after Southern Hemisphere IPA, a limited-edition beer Schlafly brewed last year as part of its 20th Anniversary Series.
Joining Tasmanian IPA are Schlafly AIPA and Export IPA, which are currently part of the brewery's Special Release Series.
Each IPA will contain about 7.2 percent alcohol by volume and will be available for four months, starting with Tasmanian IPA from October through January, AIPA from February through May, and Export IPA from June through September. Full details here.
