The makers of Bad Ass Lager, Michigan Brewing Co have been evicted form their headquarters for failure to pay on their loan.  This from the FentonPatch:

The doors at the Michigan Brewing Company headquarters in Webberville have been closed, but a Fenton official said he is still confident the business will move forward with its restaurant and tavern at Fenton's old fire hall.

Michigan Brewing Company was evicted Tuesday after the Webberville building was foreclosed after failing to make loan payments to Zions First National Bank, reported the Lansing State Journal. The article stated Highview Enterprises bought the property but failed to reach a rental agreement with MBC and its lending company, Highview Holdings.  Full details here.

More bad news for Michigan Brewing on the Fenton project:

The owner of Michigan Brewing Company said its lease termination with Fenton was the best for both parties.

Bobby Mason, brewery owner and president, said he needed to focus on the eviction from the company's Webberville location and that the proposed Fenton development wasn't the fault of any one person and it wasn't moving forward because of several reasons.  Full details here.
