I just heard from Larry DeGreen and I’m excited to report that Purple Healer Brewing has a found a great location, and they’re planning to open the doors in Aug. Larry tells me they will be setting up their Sabco brewing system at a Bloomsburg favorite Italian restaurant (at the fountain) called La Fontana’s. Purple Healer LLC will be leasing the basement and producing 1.5-3bbl batches with the intent to grow even larger. Larry plans to start out with their Golden Ale, Antie M Amber, a Russian Imperial Stout and their award winning Dopplebock, Ripinator with the intent to get up to 8 beers on tap eventually. The projected opening date is in Early Aug assuming everything goes smoothly….so stay tuned for updates as we get closer. Congratulations to Larry and everyone at Purple Healer Brewing!
