This is an interesting new beer, approved this morning from Hof ten Dormall brewery in Belgium. Brought to us by Twelve Percent LLC, Winter 11 farmhouse ale is made from “local and natural ingredients strictly adhering to local and traditional ingredients.” Brewmaster Andre Janssens has used grains and hops from the Dormaal farm. This is in the 12.7oz size and comes in at 8% ABV. I did get a chance to taste WInter 10, and it was a very nice Belgian strong ale so I expect good things from Winter 11. We do get Hof ten Dormaal Amber and Blonde in PA, so hopefully we will see Winter 11.
I’ve also included a peek at the Hof ten Dormaal Dark (7.5% ABV) for you to check out. It was also approved today.

The Amber and Blonde were two of my favorite beers of 2010 - I hope to be able to get my hands on this one.
