Mark your calendars for May 10th as the WILK Friday BeerBuzz crew celebrates our 3rd Anniversary.  Join us from 5-7PM at Krugel’s Georgetown Deli & Beer as we do a special free sampling (must be 21+ to sample) and even a special “Meet The Brewmaster” event with Weyerbacher Head brewer Chris Wilson.  I’ve also confirmed that we’ll be premiering Weyerbacher Brewer’s Select Andromeda for your sampling at the event.  This is the first in the new Brewer’s Select naming and one of two rare kegs making it up our way so DO NOT Miss this one!  Full event details are here.

UPDATE:  We will also be premiering one of my FAVORITE Weyerbacher beers in NEPA, Riserva!  This is the FIRST time Riserva bottles will hit our area so it will be a VERY limited quantity!  Bobby also tells me there will be 6 different Weyerbacher beers on draft for the event as well!

    Weyerbacher head brewer Chris Wilson will name the Brewer's Select series after the constellations. I believe there are 88 of 'em? Plenty of Brewer's Select to come and he's off to a great start with Andromeda!

    Roasty and malty and tastes more like a beer that would reside further up the ABV scale than Andromeda's 4/7%...which is a perfect combination of flavor and session-ability! (Is that a word? It is now.)
