Weyerbacher - Brewer’s Select Andromeda Malty Amber Ale - The Series Continues!

image
We’ve been asking our pal Chris Wilson from Weyerbacher what would happen next in their Brewer’s Select series after they hit Zulu and it looks like today we finally have an answer.  The brewers select series had previously followed the phonetic alphabet from Alpha to Zulu, and now the series returns with Andromeda and it looks like we’ll be working our way through constellations.  Weyerbacher Brewer’s Select Andromeda is a Malty Amber Ale that will be packaged in 12oz bottles and come in at a sessionable 4.5% ABV.  Stay tuned for release details.

Update from Weyerbacher:

The next Brewers' Select Series will continue to feature new beers which will don the names of constellations - Andromeda is the first! Andromeda will be an amber ale with a pronounced and complex malt profile (notes of coffee, bread and roasted grains). It should be mid 4% ABV and low IBUs. As with all of our Brewers' Select beers, Andromeda will have extremely limited production. Draft will be available at select restaurants and bars, while bottles will be sold exclusively at Weyerbacher's Visitors Center. We should see the release of this beer by the end of April. Stay tuned!

UPDATE on the beer:  Andromeda is an amber ale with a pronounced and complex malt profile (notes of coffee, bread and roasted grains )at 4.7% ABV with 27 IBU. As with all of our Brewers’ Select beers, Andromeda will have extremely limited production. Draft will be available at select restaurants and bars. 12oz bottles will be made available starting Friday, May 3rd, 2013 exclusively at the Visitors Center!
