Lagunitas – DayTime (A Fractional IPA) 4.9% ABV (Update)

Here's an exciting new 22oz bottle coming from Lagunitas called DayTime—A Fractional IPA.  This is one of the new sessionable IPAs we’ve seen coming out lately and this one has an original gravity of 1.042, an ABV of only 4.9% and a big 54.2 IBU.  The theme here is “Burning down the house” and it speaks of tearing down old “realities” and starting fresh with new ideals….and I think a sessionable IPA is certainly a new ideal.

Update 7/13/2012 –This beer is listed as “Surrendered” today.  I’m sure we’ll see it return but for now it is not active.

Update 7/14/2012—As I suspected it is now approved (below)
