We teamed up with our friends at Tarantula Hills Brewing Company* to bring you a fresh take on a classic: a West Coast IPA that’s as bold as it is balanced. Bursting with aromas of pineapple and tropical vibes, the sip takes you straight to the woods with piney, Christmas tree flavors and a hint of lemon peel citrus to round it out.
Dodgin' Darts West Coast IPA is available on draft and in 4packs of 16oz cans now, ready for your next adventure—or just your next chill session. Grab it while you can!
With a heavy heart, we send our deepest condolences and support to those in *Southern CA communities like Altadena, Pacific Palisades, and others who are currently dealing with any type of fall out from the fires ravaging through the area. For those of you looking for ways to help those in need, we encourage you to look into the following programs:

From The Cellar
This beast only appears every two years. Headzo is a Strong Ale aged for two years—first in Port barrels, then in Cognac and Rye barrels—reaching a bold 18% ABV and a deep red hue. Near still, it offers aromas of burnt caramel, figs, and vanilla, with flavors of molasses, dark fruit, and a hint of tobacco. Sip it slow, and maybe share—if you’re feeling generous.
Headzo Strong Ale is available in 375mL bottles and on draft only at Drake’s locations.
2024 In Review
2024 was another historic year at Drake's Brewing Company, with our production unit out of San Leandro using over 2.5 million pounds of malt and over 80 tons of hops to fill 5.3 million cans and 37,000 kegs! Our lab was busy performing over 1,000 yeast counts and VDK tests twice/day, ensuring that quality assurance remains our top priority. And, as always, our sustainability efforts remain essential to our daily operations, as we baled and recycled 19,400 lbs of cardboard and 5,520 lbs of plastic film and malt bags. Our Production, Cellar, Packaging, Maintenance, and Engineering team members remain the best in the business, and we're excited to show you the bigger and better things they'll bring in 2025
