WeldWerks is excited to announce their next round of bottle releases which includes a collaboration with Mikerphone Brewing. Tickets will go on sale via Eventbrite (no access code needed, the ticket purchasing page will be viewable once the sale begins) this Saturday, Aug. 17 at 10 a.m. Pickups begin Wednesday, Aug. 21 at 11 a.m. through Sunday, Sept. 8 at 7 p.m.
Coconut PVW23 Medianoche
Coconut PVW23 Medianoche once again features WeldWerks’ rarest and most sought-after barrels but this time, the team added coconut into the mix. This Imperial Stout blend aged for 41 months in barrels that previously stored first-use 23-year-old Pappy Van Winkle Family Reserve Bourbon, often referred to as the holy grail of bourbons. Following the extensive barrel-aging, Weldwerks added its signature blend of raw and toasted coconut chips. This created the perfect pastry version of the brewery’s already popular Medianoche PVW23. Experience the intense aroma of toasted coconut and oak, followed by notes of sweet coconut cream, chocolate, and a satisfying finish of alcohol heat from the bourbon.
Sweet Disposition
After the booming success of Sweet Disposition in 2018, WeldWerks invited their friends at Mikerphone Brewing back to brew a second batch in 2021—an Imperial Stout that has been quietly aging in Weller 12-year Bourbon barrels for over 30 months. Post aging, they added Madagascan vanilla beans and pure Vermont maple syrup to ensure this blend is bursting at the seams with rich notes of maple syrup, light caramel, and smooth vanilla, followed by intense oak and bourbon richness. Needless to say, both parties think this bottle will pair perfectly with a tall stack of pancakes.
