Snallygaster 2024: The East Coast’s Premier Beer Festival Returns

Get ready for the ultimate beer festival experience as Snallygaster returns for its 12th year on October 12th, 2024, from 12 pm to 6 pm. This year’s festival promises an unparalleled selection of 450 sought-after brews from 175 top-tier American and international producers. Join us in the heart of Downtown Washington, D.C., as Snallygaster takes over four city blocks on Pennsylvania Avenue between 3rd and 7th Streets for a day filled with craft beer, local food vendors, and live music across two stages.

“With the Capitol building as the backdrop, Snallygaster will once again offer an unforgettable beer drinking experience,” says Greg Engert, Beverage Director & Partner for Neighborhood Restaurant Group. This year’s lineup includes countless new breweries, rare beers, and an impressive number of brewers themselves pouring their creations.

Expect a mind-blowing array of small batch, highly sought-after brews, cask ales, vintage bottle pours, and gravity-kegs from renowned names like Cantillon, Hill Farmstead, Monkish, and Fidens. In addition to beer, Snallygaster features ciders, wines, cocktails, a maker’s market by Shop Made in DC, and a kids' zone for family-friendly fun.

Ticket sales benefit Arcadia Center for Sustainable Food & Agriculture, supporting local food equity and sustainability. The Kraken pass ($75) offers entry at 2:00 pm with unlimited tastings and a commemorative glass. The Basilisk pass ($150) grants early entry at 12:00 pm, VIP amenities, and access to rare selections. Tickets go on sale July 9th at SnallygasterDC.com – don’t miss out as they will sell out fast!
