HANSON BROTHERS BEER (HBB) has announced new beers to be available in markets throughout North America starting fall 2024 in conjunction with HBB founders musical trio HANSON’s fall North American concert tour.  The new collaboration beer with award-winning DESTIHL® Brewery, Pink Moonlight Hazy Peach IPA is a part of a new brewing partnership between the two breweries with DESTIHL brewing and distributing HBB beers, helping to bring established beers like their flagship MMMHops Pale Ale to more markets as well as develop collaboration brands and new styles.  Coinciding with the summer announcement, the collaboration beer, Pink Moonlight Hazy Peach IPA, was available for the first time (June 15th) during the Boulevardia Beer and Music Festival in Kansas City.  Festival goers were able to catch HBB founders HANSON, made up of brothers Isaac, Taylor and Zac, during their concert at the festival June 14th.   zzubreebym

“We love the craft beer community, and we are incredibly proud of the budding collaboration with our friends at DESTIHL.  We can’t think of a better way to share this new chapter in our breweries’ history than a beer and music festival like Boulevardia”, said Taylor Hanson.

The new partnership has been growing for nearly a decade, sparked by a mutual love of craft beer and music between DESTIHL founder Matt Potts and the Hanson brothers.  First meeting during the Great American Beer Festival® panel discussions and music presentations between them on the bridge between craft beer and music in 2014-2016, co-founder Taylor Hanson and Matt began sharing creative ideas around the common threads especially paralleled by craft beer and the independent music scene which the band HANSON embraced by founding their own record label twenty years ago, in 2004. This theme is echoed in the HANSON BROTHERS BEER motto, Beer + Music = Awesome.

“We are very excited about this Beer + Music partnership between DESTIHL and HBB, which has culminated after our years-long friendship, conversations and prior collaborations with the Hanson brothers.  We look forward to brewing awesome beers with each other and putting them out on tour with HANSON around the country!”, said Matt Potts.

Craft beer fans in both breweries’ home states will have another early shot at trying the limited batch of the Pink Moonlight Hazy Peach IPA ahead of its wider fall distribution, via the limited release July 21st at select craft beer establishments in Illinois and Oklahoma.

HANSON BROTHERS BEER has been making authentic craft styles since 2013, based out of Tulsa, Oklahoma featuring flagship beer MMMHOPS Pale Ale, which won a gold medal at the World Beer Championships. DESTIHL Brewery, based in Normal, Illinois, has likewise been making a wide array of award-winning craft beers since 2013 and before that at its brewpub since 2007, being best known for its Wild Sour Series beers and Hazy IPA’s, winning coveted gold medals at the Great American Beer Festival and internationally.
