Atwater Releasing Big Pick IPA

From Atwater:

It’s an exciting time for football fans in Detroit and to celebrate this moment - Atwater Brewery is dropping a brand-new beer - Big Pick IPA.

Big Pick IPA is an IPA brewed in the Midwest style. Clocking in at 6.5% ABV and 58 IBUs with Centennial and Cascade hops, it’s sure to be your first-round pick when it comes to brews this season!

Plus, with Atwater Brewery nestled a mere 1.8 miles away from Detroit football festivities this month - the brewer is daring the city’s legal drinkers to drink 1.8 miles of beer or 1,100 Big Pick cases (which would span 1.8 miles if lined up end to end)!

Big Pick IPA is now available at local retailers and on tap at the Atwater Brewery throughout the month of April while supplies last.

Quote from Katy Brady:

It is an exciting time to be a Detroiter, and an even more exciting time to be Detroit’s beer. With a national spotlight on our city, we want to raise a pint to those who have been here as long as us, we want to raise a pint to those who took a chance on our city at a time when many counted us out, and most importantly, we want to raise a pint to the hardworking men and women of Detroit who keep our city moving forward every day. We know that a tremendous amount of blood, sweat, and hometown pride goes into pulling off an event as large as this, and we are proud to be here to refresh football fans from near and far with our celebratory release, Big Pick IPA.
