This morning I have an exciting new family
collaboration coming in 2024 from
Brewery Ommegang in Cooperstown,
NY.
This is Super Bolleke (an endearing term for the bowl-shaped chalice in which legendary beer is served) and it will be brewed in collaboration with Brewery De Koninck in Antwerp, Belgium. The beer will be a Belgian-style amber ale (an imperial version of the classic Bolleke) that hits 7.8%-AbV and I hear “it’s good…really good.” The beer will use De Koninck yeast and open fermentation and it will be packaged in 16oz cans.
