TEMPERANCE 10 YEAR PARTY!
FRIDAY, DEC. 15: 4:00 PM to 10:00 PM
CAN YOU BELIEVE IT?? We're turning 10!! Together we've gone through a lot of ups and downs over the years, but we're still here and ready to party!
Dance the night away as Members Only Band play your favorite hits from the 80’s (7-10 pm). Paper Plane Pizza will be serving their tasty slices, whole pies, and hoagies, too (4-8 pm).
In addition to Gatecrasher 10, we will also have on tap The First Five! BONUS: we found some lost cases of The First Five, our five-year anniversary beer, which we will have for sale for you to take home.
And have you tried Frances' Fizz, our hard seltzer with real pink guava purée, freshly-squeezed lemon, and a hint of marshmallow? It's pink and on tap!
Do you have friends or loved ones who aren’t beer drinkers but would happily join you in the Tap Room if only we served wine? Well, tomorrow is their big day because
WE WILL BE POURING WINE ON TAP for the first time ever!
We are thrilled to debut wine service with House of Brown’s Red Blend, a certified sustainable juicy blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Pinot Noir, and Tempranillo grapes from Napa Valley’s first Black-owned estate winery.
PLUS, Temperance alums will be with us throughout the evening while a special throwback tap room playlist lays down the soundtrack all day long. So bring your friends, and enjoy an amazing time together with us! RSVP on Facebook
BREWERY TOUR & TASTING
SATURDAY, DEC. 16: 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM
Come meet us, have a tour and a taste. Join us for a Brewery Tour every third Saturday of the month! Go behind-the-scenes, learn about how we make beer, get three generous beer samples, a gorgeous souvenir Belgian glass, and 20% off on merchandise that day. Plus, leave knowing why Frances Willard is not to blame for Prohibition and how we use x-ray beams on our beer.
CLASSPOP! PAINT AND SIP: STARRY LAKE
SUNDAY DEC. 17, 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM
Bask in the rosy hues of the setting sun as you recreate this starry lakeside scene at a fun-filled paint and sip session. With easy-to-follow, step-by-step instructions, you'll be able to capture this scene on canvas no matter your skill level! Make it a creativity-filled date night, invite your friends or head out solo for an all-around mood-boosting event.
Temperance Trikonasana
SATURDAY, DEC. 16: 1:00 PM to 2:45 PM
Our Temperance Trikonasana series pairs beer with yoga and a cause. Jenny Arrington of Rebel Human brings her “Rebel Human Way” class to the brewery. Once our bodies and minds are opened, we’ll have a beer together and learn about the charity we are supporting this month (100% of your entrance fee goes to the Moran Center!).
The James B. Moran Center for Youth Advocacy is a beloved Evanston organization that provides community-based legal, mental health, and restorative services for youth and families. Their approach is holistic, healing-centered, and client-driven. Their work advances the vision of a more just, racially equitable, and restorative society at local, regional, and state levels. Visit their website to learn more about the incredible work they do!
