Ipswich Dark Ale
American Brown Ale
Hidden beneath a complex malt character lies a deceptively hoppy American brown ale. A combination of roasted malts provides both toasty and chocolate-like flavors. 5.9% ABV
Rip Currant
Nitro Porter
Now on draft!! A light-bodied porter fermented with black currant puree. This beer drinks fairly dry with a subtle roasted malt note and a complex fruit nuance from the currants. The creamy nitro texture ties it all together. 5.5% ABV See Our Beers
HELLBOUND
Barleywine
Our take on an American barleywine that goes down smooth but packs a devilishly bold punch. It's slightly sweet with lingering hints of raisins and caramel. 11.8% ABV
Amid the uneasy peace in 1740, a religious revival swept across New England, it was known as the Great Awakening. Legend says that preacher George Whitfield’s powerful sermon filled the congregation of Ipswich’s First Church with a horrible sense of their sin. The Devil, lurking among the pews, was so pained by the preacher’s words he charged up the steeple stairs and leaped to the Town Green below. A footprint left by the Prince of Darkness can still be found burned into the rocky ledge to this day…
