We are pleased to invite you to an Oktoberfest Celebration on October 22nd at Worthy Brewing, featuring The Polkaticians, the aptly named oompa band headlined by House Speaker and tubist extraordinaire Dan Rayfield.
Dan, a gifted orator with legendary lung capacity, has just announced his candidacy to be Oregon’s next Attorney General. As defenders of the civil justice system, we couldn’t be more excited.
Dan Rayfield's record of service is impressive. As a State Representative of House District 16, first elected in 2014, he has tirelessly worked on key issues such as education, healthcare, economic prosperity, and public safety. Outside of the Legislature his experience as an attorney, advocating for consumers and holding large corporations accountable, underscores his commitment to protecting the civil rights and well-being of all Oregonians.
As Oregon’s next Attorney General, Dan will continue to focus on keeping our families and communities safe–and making sure every Oregonian has the opportunity to succeed and thrive. We’re asking for your support to use the power of the office to uphold the values we all share and deliver the accountability we all deserve. Dan’s agenda includes:
- Working with local law enforcement and criminal justice reform advocates to make our communities safer.
- Protecting our environment, economy and health by holding mass polluters accountable.
- Enforcing our ethics laws and holding public officials to the highest standards.
- Keeping families and seniors safe from predatory lenders, corporations and insurance companies.
- Ensuring that all Oregonians maintain their rights to reproductive freedom.
- Working to curb gun violence in our communities and our schools.
We’re asking our supporters to please consider a contribution of $1,000, $500, $250, $100, $50 or whatever your budget can afford. Every dollar helps.
We’re honored to host this Oktoberfest fundraiser for our friend and colleague. The music starts at 1pm. Dan and his Polkaticians will play until about 3pm. Afterwards, we will move the party upstairs to the Star Bar. Throughout the show, several special guests who hold local, state and federal office will say a few words.
