Unclaimed Baggage Hosts Biggest Event in Store History:
The 42nd Annual Winter Event
WHAT:
Unclaimed Baggage, the nation’s only retailer of lost luggage and Alabama’s well-known tourist destination, kicks off its biggest event of the year on Saturday, Nov. 4. Each year, hundreds of people wait in line for the Annual Ski Sale Event that promises fun and amazing deals on top name-brand winter items. This year’s event not only features more product than ever – noted as the store’s largest event in its 53-year history – but Unclaimed Baggage is also doing a special “buy one, give one” where they will donate a jacket to someone in need for every jacket purchased.
Unclaimed Baggage has been stockpiling thousands of its best-of-the-best ski and winter apparel, ski equipment, accessories and more, to be released all at once at Saturday’s event. Eager shoppers begin the weekend by camping out overnight on Friday to secure their spot in line and shop brands such as Patagonia, Canada Goose, Arc'teryx, Marmot, North Face, REI and more.

- Unclaimed Baggage invites shoppers to camp out the night before the Ski Sale and join in on activities such as a movie night, free pizza and s’mores, games and more. The first 50 campers will get a 30-minute head start on shopping and will have the opportunity to win a $450 Unclaimed Baggage gift card.
