Appalachian Brewing Announces 2023 Oktoberfest Details

Guten Tag!
It is that time again! Break out the Lederhosen and warm up your accordion! Oktoberfest starts this weekend and ABC is celebrating with German style beers and a German themed menu. Visit your favorite ABC location until 10/8 for our special menu including Beer & Cheese Dip, Schnitzel, and Cabbage & Kielbasa. 
No Oktoberfest is complete without beer!  Stop in to enjoy our limited release of Kipona Fest Lager or Hinterland Hefeweizen. Looking for something to go? Enjoy the taste of Munich at home; this year Kipona Fest Lager, Mountain Lager, and Hinterland Hefe are available in cans!

German Potato Pancakes

Shredded potatoes and a unique blend of spices formed into patties and pan fried, sprinkled with fresh parsley and served with herbed sour cream and apple sauce.

Beer & Cheese Dip

ABC Mountain Lager blended with cream cheese, smoked gouda, mozzarella and provolone served with warm soft pretzel bites for dipping

Jagerschnitzel

Tender pork pounded thin, breaded and fried, topped with a mushroom and onion hunter’s sauce. Served with  mashed potatoes or warm German potato salad.

Sausage & Sauerkraut Fritters

Ground sausage, sauerkraut and cream cheese blended together and tossed in breadcrumbs and flash fried to a golden brown. Served with a creamy honey mustard sauce.

A classically brewed German-Style Hefeweizen. We used the finest Bavarian ingredients to create an unfiltered wheat beer, with a fluffy head and notes of banana and clove

This Oktoberfest style Marzen is a favorite at the famous Bavarian fall beer festivals. The distinct toasted malt flavor of this amber lager finishes quite crisp due to the extensive lagering of this beer.
