Surly Releasing Lost Resort Tropical IPA

Surly Releasing Lost Resort Tropical IPA

From Surly:

The luxury, all-inclusive resort. Spa days. Championship golf. Infinity pools.

They’re great and all, but what about the resorts from back in the day, over in the old part of town, away from the interstate? The flickering neon sign, the ice machine that sounds like a coal train derailing, the doors with actual metal keys. If the pool is up to code, it’s because the owner is the inspector’s brother-in-law. The rooms still have ash trays.

You can still find these glorious, forgotten places if you look hard enough. Lost Resort Tropical IPA is dedicated to these American treasures, where the amenities don’t matter nearly as much as the fact that you are on vacation, brother.

Lost Resort’s sultry, citrusy character comes courtesy of Sabro and Experimental #17701 hops. Lime and pineapple additions amplify the tropical character, transporting you to a land of Hawaiian shirts, floppy hats, and free HBO.

This late summer stunner is available on draft and in 4-packs of 16 oz. cans to all Surly markets.

The particulars:

  • ABV: 9%
  • Hops: Sabro, Experimental #17701
  • Malt: 2-Row, Vienna, Carafoam, Acidulated, DRC, Unmalted Wheat, Flaked Oats
  • Yeast: English Ale
  • Pour: Golden
  • Special Guests: Pineapple, Key Lime, Maltodextrin
