A Five-Hour Flight for Fresh Hops with Denver’s FlyteCo Brewing

From FlyteCo:

On 8/23, aviation-themed FlyteCo Brewing and their pilots-turned-brewery owners take flight in a small passenger plane from Denver to Billy Goat Hop Farm in Southwest Colo. (some fun photos + videos here from last year). After retrieving the fresh hops, they’ll turn around and head back to Denver to add to the brew kettle - a whirlwind five hours. It results in the freshest wet hop beer a beer lover could ask for. (As you probably know, fresh hop harvest season takes place in late summer where brewers have a once-a-year opportunity to make beer with fresh, rather than dried, hops.) They will release the beer on September 8.
