Goose Island Reveals 2023 Bourbon County Brand Stout Variants: Two Year Reserve, Gingerbread Stout, Backyard Stout, Tea Time Stout, Two Year Cask Finish & Proprietor’s StoutThe tradition continues as once again I have your very first peek at some exciting new (and colorful) Bourbon County Brand Stouts coming from Goose Island in Chicago, IL.

Before you comment, yes, I know that in previous years, Goose Island has approved some fake beer labels for BCBS. Today we get our first peek at Two Year Reserve (stout aged for 2-years in Bardstown Bourbon company Rye Whiskey  barrels—finished in cherry wood and oak barrels), Two Year Reserve (stout aged for 2-years in Ten-year Eagle Rare Bourbon barrels), Gingerbread Stout (stout aged in Bourbon barrels with ginger, clove, cinnamon and molasses), Backyard Stout (stout aged in Bourbon barrels with mulberries, boysenberries and marionberries), Tea Time Stout (stout aged in Bourbon barrels with chamomile, honey and lemon), Two Year Cask Finish (rye stout aged in Angel’s Envy rye Whiskey barrels—finished in Caribbean Rum barrels), Two Year Cask Finish (stout aged in Angel’s Envy rye Whiskey barrels—finished in ruby Port Wine barrels & Proprietor’s Stout (stout aged in Bourbon barrels with cardamom, peppermint, juniper, clove and orange—finished in Amaro barrels, 14%-AbV).   3. Really sad to see these wildly off the wall adjuncts. C'mon. Do vanilla again, been 5 years. Do the Barleywine again, been forever. Try a peanut treatment. Don't want to speak for everyone but the very heavy fruits and tea and cardamom bs is not something i want in a stout
