As employee safety is the foremost and primary concern, Anheuser-Busch is working closely with its local teams – including at Baldwinsville brewery – to ensure colleagues and partners in the region are safe.
The donated emergency drinking water was delivered to Anheuser-Busch wholesaler partner, Dana Distributors Inc. in Goshen, NY, who worked alongside the American Red Cross to distribute the water to individuals in need.
“The Red Cross is grateful to Anheuser-Busch for the generous donation of drinking water, which is a critical contribution to our relief operation and so important for many families in the community who need clean water,” said Kevin Coffey, regional executive for the American Red Cross of Eastern New York.
“Our thoughts are with our neighbors in Highland Falls, West Point, and the greater Hudson Valley who were impacted by the recent storms,” said Ashley White, Senior General Manager of the Anheuser-Busch brewery in Baldwinsville, New York. “Our team in Baldwinsville is proud that Anheuser-Busch is able to leverage our production, distribution, and partnership capabilities to provide this critical donation to those in need, and we hope it provides them some relief as they recover.”
The water was sourced from the Anheuser-Busch brewery in Cartersville, Georgia, which alongside the Ft. Collins, Colorado brewery periodically pauses beer production throughout the year to can emergency drinking water and help communities in times of disaster in partnership with the American Red Cross.
Anheuser-Busch has a longstanding tradition of providing support for disaster relief efforts in partnership with the American Red Cross, dating back to 1906.
