LOS ANGELES, CA (May 4, 2023) - Ghost Hounds are back with the perfect song to dance into summer. Today, they’ve released “Make It Shake,” a new song off their upcoming album - listen HERE.

Ghost Hounds released the first single and video off the album, “Dirty Angel,” in March to praise from American Songwriter, Consequence, and Guitar World, among others - watch/share the “Dirty Angel” video HERE. On their inspiration behind “Make It Shake,” the band explains, “Over the years we’ve been fortunate enough to tour with The Rolling Stones, which was absolutely surreal and a major inspiration for us. Opening for them was a do-or-die moment - we knew that we had to go on stage and get the crowd moving to show them what we’re all about. ‘Make It Shake’ is all about that feeling of crafting an irresistible song that just makes people want to get up and dance.”

Aside from gearing up for the release of their new album, Ghost Hounds has spent time giving back to the community. Last month, they visited the Gibson Showroom in Miami for a performance celebrating the Latin GRAMMY Cultural Foundation. Along with their performance, the band, in partnership with Gibson Records, donated instruments and funds totaling $20,000 to the foundation, which supports the legacy of Latin music and musicians, and the Miami music community.

While touring with legendary acts including The Rolling Stones, Garth Brooks, and ZZ Top, Ghost Hounds spent plenty of time refining their sound, culminating in their most sophisticated record to date. Their latest release, “Make It Shake, gives fans a hint at what they can expect from the upcoming album. It’s an upbeat, danceable song infused with the band’s signature bluesy sound.

Gibson Records--the music label which delivers guitar-driven music to the forefront of culture--will release the new album from Ghost Hounds globally late June, in partnership with Firebird Label Services for distribution. Ghost Hounds’ fourth album follows the first official release from Gibson Records, Slash Ft. Myles Kennedy & The Conspirators’ acclaimed fourth full-length album titled 4, which was released last year.

Expect more news soon about the band’s upcoming album!

About Ghost Hounds:

Ghost Hounds are a rock 'n' blues band hailing from Pittsburgh, PA. The band's classic rock 'n' roll guitar tunes are the result of both Thomas Tull and Brooklyn native guitarist Johnny Baab, while the driving forces on bass and drums are Bennett Miller and Blaise Lanzetta, respectively. Fronted by lead singer Tré Nation, whose voice was simply made for rock, Ghost Hounds are a modern day rock band that plays blues inspired rock in such a way that proves that the genre is not only alive but thriving for the next generation of rock fans.

Ghost Hounds have released three studio albums to date. Their debut album Roses Are Black released in 2019 and generated millions of streams and received acclaim from Billboard, American Songwriter, and many more. In 2021 the band released their sophomore album, A Little Calamity, showcasing the band’s classic rock chops, that included the infectious track and hit single, “Good Old Days.” Soon after A Little Calamity came the band’s 2022 album, You Broke Me, a perfect testimony to Ghost Hounds’s ability to blend classic blues rock with modern influences. The band has had plenty of time to refine their sound on the road, having supported legendary acts including The Rolling Stones, ZZ Top, Garth Brooks, and Bob Seger on tour.

Currently, the band is gearing up to release their fourth album, which will be released late June with Gibson Records. With the band’s chemistry more alive than ever, we can expect plenty of blues-rock brilliance from Ghost Hounds to come!
