Georgia’s Tantrum Brewing Acquired By NoFo Brew Co

From Tantrum Brewing:

Big Announcement! Some of you may have already heard rumors swirling around, so it’s time to let the cat out of the bag. With mixed emotions, we are here to announce that the location of Tantrum Brewing Company will be acquired by NoFo Brew Co of Cumming. This will be the first acquisition of this kind in Georgia. Tantrum will continue to operate as normal until mid May, at which time we will pass the torch to NoFo. We, as the Tantrum family and Team, are so grateful for the past 4.5 years of support from our customers, with so many great people and friendships made. We believe NoFo is the perfect fit to steward this location moving forward and are excited to watch as they continue to push the industry forward. That being said, we want everyone to know we will still be here and serving our community until the middle of May, so come out and let’s wrap it up strong! Again, we are so grateful for everything we have learned and accomplished here. - Ross, Elizabeth, John, and Team‬

NoFo Brew Co. to Aquire Tantrum Brewing Company

Hello Friends & Fans,
You may become alerted to a post that will take place at some point today, Monday, April 17th.  We have decided as a family to sell Tantrum Brewing Company to NoFo Brewing Co. We felt it best to pass the torch of our beautiful facility to someone who is capable of being good stewards. This was not an easy decision.  We love our product, our staff, and our community.  Our vision was always to give back and we have graciously done so.  But for many reasons, we have decided as a family to move in a different direction.

With that being said, please know that we are still open.  If you have an event scheduled, it remains in place.  You will receive the very best customer service we always provide, the same staff remain with us, they are here to serve, and the beer is still flowing and delicious.  We will remain in business, until May 15th.  We will continue to be Tantrum Brewing Company until that time.

Food Trucks and Musicians – please note that if you are on our books, you will remain on the books moving forward for 2023 and some of you even 2024, unless you hear from us or a member of the NoFo team.  There will be a short period of closure, and if you are scheduled during that time, someone will reach out to you.

Trivia Night/Wednesdays – This will continue.
Specials – we hope that you will continue to support us.  We will have specials over the next several weeks that will include crowlers and if need be – we will open up to growlers.  All beer has to be out of the building by May 15th, so it’s a wonderful opportunity to stock up on your favorite Tantrum beers and wish us well as we move into the future.

This has been a difficult decision to sunset a brand that we have poured our hearts and souls into for several years.  Our family has been very invested in our product.  Ross, the mastermind behind the wonderful beer and brand.  John, assisting with financial support along the way.  Elizabeth, beating the streets with samples, and believing in the high-quality product we brought to the craft beer industry.  And not least, William, providing that beautiful smile and warm southern hospitality.

We had some tough times – Covid – year one, barely surviving, and then a nice recovery during a growing economy.  As much as it saddens us, we hope and pray that our fans will support us until we close and support us in this decision as we look toward a better future for us as a family.

We appreciate you, our fans.  So many of you have become family over the years and we are grateful for all of your support.  We will always be thankful for our time as owners of Tantrum Brewing Company and the wonderful friendships shared.  Sweet memories, gatherings, and friendships have been created at Tantrum and we are thankful for those memories.  Again, we hope that you will come out and continue to support not only us, but our wonderful staff who are still with us, love their jobs, and will be making the transition to new owners and will continue to need your love and support.
Thank you again for many years of good vibes and sharing & appreciating great beer.  Blessings to you and yours.

God Bless You All & Prayers to Make America Great Once Again!
Ross, John, Elizabeth, Will, & Ben
