WHAT: National Wreaths Across America Day is fast approaching and will take place on December 17, 2022.
Coming to Pennsylvania is, what may people consider to be, the country’s longest veterans’ parade, the Wreaths Across America annual “Escort to Arlington.” This 12-truck convoy accompanied by Chevrolet vehicles, the Wreaths Across America Mobile Education Exhibit, and local supporters will be making a local stop on its way to Arlington National Cemetery to deliver veterans wreaths to our nation’s interred veterans.
WHEN and WHERE:
Thursday, December 15
7:15 AM Trucks leave Hampton Inn in Bordentown, NJ
At 8:45 AM - 10:45 AM Trucks arrive at Delaware County Veterans’ Memorial - 4599 West Chester Pike, Newtown Square, PA - Local contacts: Ralph Galati 610-999-4609 rwgalati@gmail.com.
The trucks continue south to DE before driving down the coast to reach Arlington National Cemetery for Wreaths Across America Day on December 17th.
WHO: Schools, local volunteers, Gold Star Families, Blue Star Families, veterans, volunteers, first responders, members of the Patriot Guard Riders and Patriot Riders, and representatives from Wreaths Across America.
