From Saint Arnold:
2022 French Press
zzubreebym
It's back! French Press - our annual special release beer - is an Imperial Coffee Porter brewed with coffee from our local friends at Java Pura Coffee Roasters.
This beer has a bold chocolate and coffee flavor and aroma with a balanced roast bitterness and mild sweetness. It finishes with a nice balance of coffee and a slight chocolaty sweetness that doesn't build and keeps you coming back for another sip.
French Press will be available in six packs of 12 oz cans at grocery and liquor stores starting Monday, November 14. It will also be available on tap at select spots across town.
But wait! There are barrel aged versions!
Back for another year is our Cognac Barrel French Press. In this special release, barrel aging lends balanced oak flavor alongside notes of fresh grape, toffee, and vanilla. The end result is a complex and decadent beer best enjoyed from a snifter by your fireplace.
New for 2022 is our Bourbon Barrel French Press with Vanilla, a rich and roasty barrel aged variation perfect for a camping trip or a weekend brunch in the comfort of your own home. Alongside the coffee, we add Madagascar vanilla for an extra layer of sweet and inviting flavor.
Both barrel aged versions will be available in individual 12 oz bottles, also starting Monday, November 14. Quantities are limited.
