Pike Brewing Announces New seasonal, New Fresh Hop Beers & A New Look

From Pike:

It’s been all hands-on deck these past couple weeks. Pike has a new look, new team, and new beers. Not to mention, it’s fresh hops season and the Pike Fish Bar is rolling full steam ahead!    zzubreebym

Our Head Brewer – Leslie Shore and Brewery/ QA Manager Barbara Beaver have been busy crafting new beers to add to our growing lineup. SEATTLE FREEZE COLD IPA is our brand new fall seasonal (available October – December)!
It just so happens to be Fresh Hop Harvest, as well, and Leslie has brewed two new Fresh hop beers that will be tapped this week!

SEATTLE FREEZE COLD IPA

Seattle Freeze Cold IPA was inspired by the supposed “Seattle Freeze” that Seattleites get accuse of… but, we all know, we’re not cold, it’s just how we like our beers!
Seattle Freeze COLD IPA is bright, hoppy, & quenchable! Featuring Cascade, Centennial, Columbus, and Simcoe hops, this beer boasts a huge west coast IPA hop aroma, while being approachable and balanced on the pallet. It finishes clean and bright. Best enjoyed on a cold Seattle day or while watching the Mariners in the playoffs!
Available in 12oz cans and draft. Remember to pick up a 6pk at Pike Brewing or your favorite bottle shop. You can also enjoy a pint at select retailers throughout the PNW.
ABV 7.0% | 35 IBUs

NEW FRESH HOP BEERS

Head Brewer Leslie has been busy! This week, we’re tapping two new fresh hop beers at the brewery - Ekuanot & Talus Fresh Hop Hazy IPAs! Come in and enjoy a pint or two. Both beers are available draft only. On tap at Pike Brewing and other retailers throughout the PNW.

EKUANOT FRESH HOP HAZY IPA

Ekuanot is brewed with generous amount of Ekuanot fresh hops (see how we got the name), harvested at Carpenter Ranch in Granger, WA and driven over to Seattle moments after being picked for maximum freshness. Ekuanot creates a wonderfully balanced amora of lemon, papaya and tropical fruit. 6.5% ABV | 40 IBU

TALUS FRESH HOP HAZY IPA

Talus Fresh Hop Hazy IPA is brewed with Talus hops, grown at Carpenter Ranch in Granger, WA. These Talus hops were harvested, driven over to Seattle, and thrown in the brew, all in the same day. Talus hops bring grapefruit, citrus, and pine flavors and aromas. 6.5% ABV | 40 IBU
