WeldWerks releases two heavy-hitters just in time for the Invitational

Continuing with the tradition of sourcing unique barrels, as well as blending and aging beer for an extensive amount of time, WeldWerks is excited to announce that they will be releasing two Medianoche variants just in time for the WeldWerks Invitational on June 25. These beers will make bourbon and beer fanatics swoon.

Tickets will go on sale Monday, June 20 at 10 a.m. via EventBrite (where you can get all the details about how to pick up bottles for the release). Bottles can be picked up on June 24 through July 10. Now let’s get to the beer!

Summer Starry Noche

Summer Starry Noche started as a carefully-selected blend of Medianoche batches aged for 19-34 months in a variety of freshly-emptied bourbon and rye barrels, including 15-year Sazerac Rye, 6-year Thomas H. Handy Rye, 6-year E.H. Taylor Bourbon, 7-year Blanton's Bourbon, and 12-year Elijah Craig Bourbon. The blend was conditioned on more than 3 pounds per gallon of toasted coconut flakes and raw coconut chips and finished with toasted Macadamia Nuts.

Available in 500 mL bottles to-go for $32 each, limit 3 per person.

Triple Barrel 1910 Medianoche

Triple Barrel 1910 Medianoche is the culmination of more than 36 months of curating, blending, and anticipation. In April of 2019, WeldWerks filled Old Forester 1910 barrels with their traditional Medianoche base and after 12 months of rest, the brewery moved them along and into a second set of 1910 barrels. Once more, after yet another 365 days, WeldWerks transferred the 2-year-old Medianoche into a third set of 1910 barrels, for their final rest of, you guessed it, 12 months. So after three-plus years of aging in three different sets of Old Forester 1910 barrels, we are proud to finally present Triple Barrel 1910 Medianoche. Notes of freshly baked cake, sweet pecan, intense vanilla, oak, and burnt caramel. Trust and believe this beer is well worth the wait.

Available in 500 mL bottles to-go for $28 each, limit 2 per person.
