New Realm Brewing has partnered with acclaimed American rock band, Blackberry Smoke to brew a fresh and flavorful take on a classic American Lager in celebration of the Band’s 21st birthday.
Blackberry Smoke American Lager is worthy of several drum rolls and a guitar solo, or two. Brewed with all American malts, it’s clean, crisp, and refreshing with just enough character to
provide a smokin’ great beer experience. Plus, with each sip, fans can toast to 21 incredible years of great Blackberry Smoke jams.
“I’ve been a big fan of Blackberry Smoke since I started listening to them several years ago, so I was thrilled when we started exploring a partnership with them. In addition to the collaboration beer, New Realm will be official partners with Blackberry Smoke in several events and activations benefiting the bands cherished non-profit work. In 2009, Brit Turner, drummer for Blackberry Smoke, was on tour in Europe when he was given devastating news. Brit’s daughter, Lana Turner, had been diagnosed with Stage 4 neuroblastoma, a rare form of cancer that develops from nerve tissue. Only three at the time, tumors had taken over 97 percent of her body. Brit and his wife, Shannon, were resolved to fight the disease and in 2011, Lana’s cancer had gone into remission. It was then that Brit’s commitment to ensuring the wellbeing of children was born and that The Lana Turner Foundation (LTF) was created. Brit and his band Blackberry Smoke leveraged their fame to generate donations which fund LTF with the mission of providing funding for CURE’s research initiatives and patient and family support.
The partnership between New Realm Brewing and Blackberry Smoke also means fans can soon lay their hands on some exclusive collectible merchandise to commemorate the beer and band’s birthday. Collectors can expect co-branded pint glasses, beach towels, jerseys, hats, stickers, and more.

The Lana Turner Foundation is teaming up with Live! at the Battery, PBR Atlanta and EagleRider to sponsor the 2022 LTF Ride for a CURE hosted by Brit and Richard Turner of Blackberry Smoke. The purpose of the ride & subsequent event is to raise critical funds for research and drive and awareness for Children and Families fighting Childhood Cancer. The ride is scheduled on Sunday, May 22nd at 9:00am at the New Realm Brewery in Atlanta, Ga with Kickstands up 11:00am and concluding at Live! at the Battery & PBR Atlanta in Cobb County.
The Lana Turner Foundation was created by Blackberry Smoke drummer Brit Turner and his family. The Turner family and the band Blackberry Smoke have supported the fight against Childhood Cancer for the last 10 years and have contributed over $750,000.00 to both research and supporting families fighting pediatric cancer.
Local law enforcement officers will serve as escorts for the ride to Live! At The Battery & PBR Atlanta. Riders will gather at 4 convenient locations: New Realm Brewing Atlanta, Eaglerider Marietta, Falcons Fury HD Conyers and Roccos Pub Jasper at 9am with kickstands up at 11 am.
Once the ride reaches Live! At The Battery Atlanta, riders and their families will be treated to Live Music, Games and a Bourbon & BBQ tasting as they enjoy an afternoon on the green at Live! at the Battery & PBR Atlanta. During the gathering at The Battery, we will draw and announce winners of spectacular DOOR Prizes.
