Stone Adding Ain’t That A Kick In The Red Imperial IPL

Here’s a new can coming to the One Batch Dispatch Series from Stone Brewing in Escondido, CA and Richmond, VA.

The beer will be called Ain’t That A Kick In The Red and it will be a red imperial IPL brewed as a collaboration between Stone’s Steve Gonzales and Seismic Brewing brewmaster Andy Hooper. This IPL will use Strata and Mosaic hops and it will kick in at 9%-AbV. zzubreebym You’re looking at the 16oz can and stay tuned for release details.

STONE AIN'T THAT A KICK IN THE RED IMPERIAL IPL

When our brewer Steve Gonzalez and Seismic Brewing’s Andy Hooper decided to talk collabs, it was quite simple. “What are you into lately?” “India Pale Lagers.” “How about a red IPL?” “Never had one before. Let’s do it!” And thus, Seismic / Stone Ain’t That A Kick In The Red Imperial IPL was born.

Strata and Mosaic hops give strawberry notes that beautifully enhance the caramel-like malt backdrop. The result is a 9% beer as enjoyable to look at as it is to drink. (And way better than a kick in the head.)
