Wild Leap Debuts Süperlager, First Pilsner to Core Beer Lineup

From Wild Leap:

LAGRANGE, GA  (February 14, 2022): Wild Leap is introducing their first German-style pilsner! Süperlager (4.2% ABV) is a German-style Pilsner with a light, crispy body and noble hop. With all the flavor of a traditional German pilsner, the lager’s namesake was a no-brainer. It is the first lager that the craft beverage brewery has produced and is the latest addition to the brewery’s staple beer lineup. Süperlager is available today in 6-packs in select markets throughout the
Southeast and at the LaGrange-based brewery.

“We have been quietly developing our lager program for quite some time now, working on our recipes on our smaller brewing systems and serving them in our taproom,” says Chief Brewing Officer, Chris Elliott. “We are finally ready to release a large batch into distribution! The lager is named Süperlager, and it is a traditional German-style Pilsner with a light body, straw color and moderate spicy noble hop characteristics. It is fantastic, and a much-needed addition to our beer portfolio.”

Wild Leap has been making varieties of unique, award-winning craft beer since 2017. Like the core lineup of ales, Süperlager is brewed onsite at Wild Leap brewery in LaGrange, Georgia. Wild Leap’s Süperlager German-style lager is available for a limited time in 6-packs of 12 oz. cans at the brewery and with retailers in select markets throughout the Southeast beginning today.
