This 25 May 2022 update from Firestone Walker:

While the two beers are quite different, they both were born out of exciting collaborations with some of the best teams in the business.

Whistle Monkee is the result of a cross-country road trip and a barrel trade with WhistlePig Whiskey. Read more about how we got our hands on the freshest barrels we've used yet in our blog post.

California pFriemin' has been a long time coming. We finally invited Josh Pfriem to The Propagator in February of this year, after delaying plans for a collaboration due to the pandemic. Read more about how Josh, Matt Brynildson, and Sam Tierney formulated their brew plan for this beer here.

Whistle Monkee and California pFriemin' are just part of the latest collection we sent to our Brewmaster's Collective members. The collection also features three club-exclusive beers - Mo'Bretta Rosé, Boilermaker, and Stickee Pig - and curated food pairings, including a custom beer-soaked cheese from Stepladder Creamery.
