This 1 Dec 2021 update from Almanac:
Available Online Now and In The Taproom Starting Friday!
In honor of Almanac's 10th Anniversary, Brewmaster Phil has created not one, not two, but THREE small-batch magical barrel blends.
Blend #1 is a decadent dark ale that evokes notes of rich dried figs, velvety almond liqueur, and lush maraschino cherries. Delicate malt sweetness is rounded out by a spiced toffee finish imparted by twelve months aging in french Agricole Rhum barrels.
Blend #2 is an imperial stout with notes of rich chocolate, candied apples, and warm toffee with a spiced tropical vanilla finish imparted by twelve months maturing in apple brandy, rye, and Agricole Rhum barrels.
Blend #3 is a sumptuous barleywine ale that was matured for twelve months in single malt whiskey barrels. Notes of spiced apple, caramel, and marzipan permeate each sip, followed by a smooth finish reminiscent of lemon meringue pie and sticky honey.
All three of these ultra-limited beers will be available exclusively online and in the taproom starting Friday!
