PORTLAND, Ore. - Oct 13, 2021 - Northwest Cider Association, a member-driven nonprofit supporting orchardists and cidermakers celebrates the one year anniversary of their one-of-a-kind direct to consumer Northwest Cider Club. NW Cider Club, like a fine wine or whiskey club, offers quarterly shipments of hand-selected releases featuring some of the region’s best and most coveted ciders, curated by a woman-led team of dedicated cider experts. The club's 2021 winter release is big sky country themed, featuring ciders from Montana, Idaho and those made with Montana apples.

To drink in big sky country is to drink in a vast, expansive landscape with a mind and heart all it’s own. The current NW Cider Club release is packed full of special gems from this region of magnificent glacier-capped mountains, deep azure lakes, snaking rivers, rolling prairies and fertile, apple tree dotted valleys that a hearty handful of cider crafting adventurers call home. This not-to-be-missed line up includes: classics like North Fork Traditional from Montana’s oldest cidery, Montana Ciderworks, brand new releases like Montana grown Farmhouse and Dry & Dandy Sparkling Cider from Missoula’s Western Cider (the latter being crafted in the Pét-nat, “naturally sparkling” style). This release explores the depth and nuance of Bitterroot Valley McIntosh apples in Lockhorn Hard Cider’s Montana McIntosh Bitterroot Valley Brut and Bauman’s McIntosh single varietal and also includes new Idaho nanocidery, Cedar Draw’s cardamom infused Spice Queen and Boise’s Meriwether Cranberry Crosscut for some spice, fruit and seasonal cheer..

How It Works: Each subscription box is delivered quarterly in December, April, June and September. There are four club choices: 1. Elevated Club includes four 750ml (wine sized!) bottles 2. Discover Club offers six, hand-selected Northwest-made ciders in 12 to 16.9oz cans and bottles 3. Discover 12 Club: doubles up on the Discover ciders, receiving two of each selection (a total of twelve ciders!) 4. Elevated + Discover Club: includes all 10 ciders This newer club option is the fastest growing favorite as it includes the full flight from both clubs. NW Cider Club is available for delivery to home or business in 39 states. Cider fans can join anytime, but as the quantity of each selection is limited you’ll want to join (or order a one-time box) by the presale date to ensure you’ll receive that quarter's release. Join or order by November 17th for Winter Release, shipping in mid-December. Sign up at nwciderclub.com

Gifting Cider: This is the perfect season to gift cider! Gifting cider is giving an experience of taste and craft. Northwest Cider Club makes it easy for cider curious and cider aficionados alike to explore new profiles from a variety of cidermakers across the region. Gift memberships are available for a single quarter (or as long as you like) with no fees for cancellation. Discover Big Sky box features selections from Montana and Idaho, including: Western Farmhouse, Lockhorn Boar Sight Bittersweet and McIntosh Bitterroot Valley Brut, Cedar Draw Spice Queen, Meriwether Cranberry Crosscut and Western’s Ranch Hand.
