French Artist/Designer Brings Beer Fans A Night Under The Stars in a Hazy DIPA

WHAT: As long summer days have given way to lingering autumn nights, Boomtown Brewery has brought forth the mystical and flavorful in their latest canned release: La Belle Etoile. Designed by LA-based French artist, industrial and product designer Caroline Gaoua-Hawkins, la nuit à la belle étoile (literally “the beautiful star”) is an idiom meaning to spend your night under the stars, something Caroline had fond memories of doing during her childhood summers. These memories, along with her love of astrology, combined to create the art that graces the outside of the can.
Inside the can is a delightful Hazy DIPA, that clocks in at 8.4% ABV and IBU 30, brewed with Galaxy, Motueka, and Citra hops, with a nose of stone fruit and citrus giving way to flavors of nectarine, tangerine, peach and melon. We also pick up on an almost creamy, full-bodied mouth feel that gives us an intriguing vanilla vibe. The brew’s available to Gold Members starting Friday, October 15th at 3:00PM PDT. The beloved beer-loving public will have to wait until Saturday, October 16th at noon. Can’t wait! zzubreebym

WHO: Caroline Gaoua-Hawkins is a French Industrial and Graphic designer. Since arriving in Los Angeles from France, Caroline’s done work for restaurants, hotels, real estate agents, breweries, catering companies and charity organizations. Currently a Senior Designer with 14TH Round, Caroline designs products, devices, packaging, and graphic content for leading brands in the cannabis industry. When she’s not being exceedingly creative, Caroline loves discovering new arts and crafts, hiking, rock-climbing, traveling and learning about other cultures. Her love of exploration permeates her work, where she is constantly searching for refreshing ways to communicate a brand's message.
WHEN: Friday, October 15th For Gold members and to go only. Gold members can purchase the four-pack to go starting at 3:00PM throughout the night.
Saturday, October 16th Available from noon onward, $22 for a four-pack to go or on tap for $8.00 for a 10oz (300ml) tulip.
