This 25 Jan 2022 update from New Belgium:

A Bourbon Barrel-Aged Barleywine Sour Ale? … say what?!  Introducing Dark Forest – a wood-aged collaboration with our dear friends at Surly Brewing Co., coming to you straight from the cold and majestic North.
This wildly unique barleywine blend aims to highlight the strengths of both breweries. Surly’s being bold & burly. Ours being tart & fruity. Both were laid down in freshly emptied bourbon barrels in Colorado & Minnesota, then blended in Fort Collins and finished on fresh Colorado spruce tips. And at 11.5% ABV, it may be easier than usual to get lost, so when venturing deep into the Dark Forest, we recommend bringing a friend along with you
Available now at our taprooms in Fort Collins & Asheville and very limited retail distribution in MN, WI, IL, CO, WA, & OR soon.
