Donation marks two years of collaboration with the Arizona Game and Fish Department.
On Friday, Aug. 6, at the Arizona Game and Fish Commission meeting in Williams, Mother Road Brewing Co. presented the Arizona Game and Fish Department with a check for $30,000 to support its critical wildlife conservation work. This donation was the culmination of funds raised through sales of Mother Road’s Conserve and Protect Golden Ale since 2020.
Flagstaff-based Mother Road teamed up with Arizona Game and Fish to help raise funds and awareness for wildlife conservation starting in 2019. Originally, the plan was to offer a limited release of craft beer with a cause, but two years later, the collaboration is still going strong. Today a portion of all sales of Conserve and Protect Golden Ale sold in stores and on tap are donated to Arizona Game and Fish.
These funds directly support Arizona’s more than 800 species of wildlife and Game and Fish biologists working in the field. Most recently, donations went toward Sonoran desert tortoise and endangered Mount Graham red squirrel population surveys. This latest donation will support even more on-the-ground wildlife conservation work in the coming year.
With the collaboration now entering its third year, the potential for its impact on Arizona’s wildlife is greater than ever. Arizona Game and Fish and Mother Road look forward to continuing to deliver on their shared goal: bringing awareness and support to on-the-ground wildlife conservation work in the state.
